THE PATH TO THE UNKNOWN: CREATIVE PROCESS IN FILM

A Master Class by Ida Cuéllar
Featured Film: The Man Who Disappeared
March 16 @ 1:30-4pm, Ticket: ₹ 350

Claude Bernard said that human beings cannot learn anything unless they go from the known to the unknown. Many times, when we face the creation of a film we need to have beforehand a script, a story; it almost seems that we need to have the whole film already finish in our mind. Even the pitches we need in order to sell our work to film production and distribution companies make us want to have the project clearly defined and finished; and that can stand in the way of the creative process.

Taking as example his latest work, The Man Who Disappeared, Ida Cuéllar proposes a way to get back to the creative freedom and avoid the fear to the unknown. He will talk about the creation as a personal quest and will give tools to make creation a process of continuum learning.

This Master Class is sponsored by the Embassy of Spain in India and Instituto Cervantes New Delhi.
